Happy Chocolate Milkshake Day! I had no idea that September 12th was chocolate milkshake day but I sure am happy that I found out! I love a good chocolate milkshake (don’t we all!) however I thought we could go with a healthier version for back to school time. 

How does a chocolate avocado milkshake sound? Believe it or not, avocado is seriously delicious in milkshakes, adding a creamy texture and tons of healthy fats, minerals and vitamins. It’s one of my very favourite ways to enjoy avocado!

    1 medium avocado, pitted and peeled
  • c
    1 cup of milk (non-dairy works as well)
  • c
    1-2 Tbsp. cocoa powder
  • c
    2-3 Tbsp. honey (to taste)
  • Directions
    • 1
      Combine the avocado, milk, frozen banana, cocoa powder and honey in a blender; blend until smooth. Add in more honey as needed to sweeten.
